Dankesschreiben aus dem Norden Indiens

Im Dezember 2019 wurden von der SBE-Gruppe beim Vinzentiner Rorate 1531,99 Euro gesammelt. Auf Vermittlung der ehemaligen Vinzentiner Lehrerin Prof. Katja Cimadom, die bei einer Indienreise die Tibetan Children's Villages (einem Kooperationspartner von SOS Kinderdorf International) in Ladakh besucht hat, wurde das Geld für den Ankauf von Kinderschuhen und eines Kopiergerätes für eine der dortigen Bergschulen gespendet. 

Im Zuge der Coronakrise ist der Kontakt leider abgebrochen. Unlängst ist aber ein Schreiben aus Nordindien eingelangt, worin sich die Verantwortlichen der Schule für die Unterstützung bedanken.

I am happy to inform you that the children at Sumdo School got their new pair of shoes for each. The children looked very happy with their rugged but very comfortable shoes, which were designed to save them from the cold weather. We are certain that the shoes will last for long as well.

At the same time, we are pleased to inform you that we have already bought the photocopying machine from Delhi. However, it will take sometime to get it transported, but we will surely get it any time sooner.

Thank you so much for the contributions that you made for the benefit of our children. They are really helpful to our children.
